Mannequin Shop is a songwriting and performance project led by native Georgian, adopted New Yorker, and current expat Aaron Griffin Lee.
Beginning in January 2025, Mannequin Shop is rolling out Tattoo EP, a rootsy, alt country collection of tunes that serve as a meditation on the cycles of long relationships, of the failure of hugely important fixtures in our lives, and the attendant grief. The singles “I Can See It Now” and “No More” and “C’est La Vie” have been released, and the full EP arrives on the 18th of April.
The band is based in and around Geneva, Switzerland and is currently preparing for a number of full-band shows in the region, while moving forward on the next two full length album projects.
Mannequin Shop released a debut album (Lookin Round) in November 2022 and toured in support of it, largely playing acoustic concerts, culminating in a sold-out acoustic show at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, a show that was covered by hometown publication Southwest Georgia Living Magazine.

In the summer of 2024, Mannequin Shop released Summer Shenanigans, a 4 song EP of light-hearted, humorous songs designed as a palate cleanser between the debut album, and the forthcoming series of heavier projects. The lead single “Hey Man’s Day Out” was the group’s most successful track up until the lead single from Tattoo was released.
This EP was followed up by two holiday-themed songs in December - “You Put the ‘Jesus Christ!’ in Christmas” in the spirit of the summer EP, and the more somber “Merchandise” - a reflection on the corruption and failure of the religious institutions and leaders that shaped Lee’s childhood.
Mannequin Shop keeps a footprint on both sides of the Atlantic, playing in the United States as well as Europe.
